Who we are ...
Masterpiece Waterfalls is a family business owned by father/son team Charlie Harwell and Micah Harwell. Together, they lead a crew of quality artists - creating beauty everywhere they go.
What we do ...
In two words, design and construction. Masterpiece Waterfalls specializes in landscape design, swimming pool construction and artificial rock waterfall construction of all shapes and sizes, from magnificent cascading rock waterfalls to ancient ruins. We also create special effects, such as artificial wood, decorative concrete, Old-World masonry, fogging systems, water slides, and more! Our high-quality recreated rock waterfalls are custom built for each project.
But waterfalls are only half of our company. Every successful yard starts with a master plan, a deliberate and well-defined vision of your project. We design themed yards that are one-of-a-kind, with swimming pools, gazebos, arbors, special effects, and of course the signature style that is ours alone. All the swimming pools on our website were designed by Masterpiece Waterfalls. We produce complete landscape plans with CAD precision with absolute detail and sectioning for easy understanding by both tradesmen and homeowners. All swimming pool designs also include complete calculations for the pool; capacity in gallons, square footage, perimeter, and recommended turnover rates. Our designs are 100% custom, we do not use templates. Our projects have won numerous national and international awards.

How we do it ...
The right way. Each phase of construction is performed to exacting standards - our standards. We demonstrate a mastery of construction techniques ranging from "positive style" rock to GFRC and fiberglass rock paneling. Using our experience and knowledge, we produce realistic rock and water features while staying in your budget.
Where we work ...
We are on the West Coast, in Bakersfield, California and cover the USA. While most of our projects are in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Fresno, Bakersfield, and San Jose, we have a dedicated team of artists and will travel virtually anywhere. Our company's motto is "Have equipment, will travel."
