Job #001 - Oriental Gardens
This stunning granite waterfall is set within an Oriental-style landscape and features three individually plumbed water spillways. The salt-and-pepper granite finish is the perfect contrast to the soft, refined pines. Plumbed and built like a standard swimming pool, the pond is a cozy 3'-6" deep with areas to sit and relax. Or the boulder just behind the front planter is perfect for just getting your feet wet.

This beautiful project is another example of a small area combined with award-winning design. With a sports court to integrate and limited space, we designed another masterpiece. A breathtaking yard with the perfect balance of hardscape and landscape elements.
Job #003 - You're A Grand Ole Flagstone
This pool includes two boulder planting areas on either side of the beach entry, hand-carved flagstone elevated spa, and custom sea animal tiles built into the rocks.

The perfect vacation spot! The list of features at this estate reads like a multi-million dollar resort; a rock-quarry style swimming pool with beach entry, spa, elliptical vanishing-edge waterfalls backlit by tiki head torches, sunken bar and lounge area, matching indoor and outdoor bridges, indoor tidepool pond with coral and an angry shark, indoor stone facade in living areas and kitchen, and more!
Job #005 - Gated Grand Entry
This commercial project is a serene entrance to come home to after a hard day at work. Located in Bakersfield at the corner of Allen Rd. and Old Town Rd., two blocks north of Brimhall. Finished dimensions are 25 feet wide, 7 feet tall.

This remodel project at the Jolly Roger Hotel in Marina del Rey, California had an existing masonry wall from which we built on.
Job #007 - A Piece of Mammoth Mountain
We constructed this beautiful waterfall and pond combination for a private residence in Mammoth Lakes, California to attract wildlife and provide the soothing sound of water. This pond is built to last with a 3HP pump, filter, and complete drainage system for easy winterizing. To match the indigenous rock, we finished the water feature with a granite texture and color.
Job #008 - Summer Retreat
An attractive home front to back. The steps on the entry walk are framed by our recreated rock. Planting pockets are designed into the rock to open them up with soft spaces. The lush green lawns provide an appealing contrast to the yard.
Job #009 - Hawaiian Getaway
This lagoon features midnight blue Pebble-Tec™ plaster, beach entry, two separate lava-rock water features, and slide! The project includes multiple rock sitting areas to relax and take in the sound of the waterfalls. There are also planters spread throughout the rock features to provide for lush planting.

Job #011 - Kern River
When our clients told us we'd be designing a project on the Kern River, we knew it had to be special. Having built their previous waterfall in Mammoth Lakes, we also knew their enjoyment of the outdoors and love of wildlife. On our first visit to the site, we found it had natural elevations and plenty of potential. We wanted to create a classy estate-style yard with plenty of room to entertain, yet retain clear views of the Kern River flowing in the background.

A koi-lover's dream come true! This 30,000+ gallon koi pond features state-of-the-art pumps and filtration, two GFRC recreated rock waterfalls, a true bridge with viewing port, and an Oriental-themed gazebo in the center of the pond!

This beautiful project is decorated by a wood gazebo, formal hedges, and white picket fences. The unique butterfly shape of the swimming pool is accented by an arched brick bridge connecting the main walk to the elevated gazebo area.

This private back yard is a classy example of using vertical lines and mirroring to give a sense of depth. The centerpiece rotunda sits atop a relaxing spa surrounded by balustrades and date palms.

This bold design won designer Charlie Harwell first place in the nationally-recognized Aqua Magazine awards. Eye-catching black tile is contrasted by white French coping for a stunning swimming pool. It features two mirrored spas, elevated planters, and an elevated rear lounge deck.
Job #024 - Exquisite Entertainment
This project was designed with entertaining in mind. Walkways take you to several levels, behind the pool to a Roman columned gazebo. The balusters lining the walkway match the home's architecture. Park lights and Grecian statues complete this elegant setting.

The Southwestern flavor of this landscape was designed to match the architecture of the home. you'll find turquoise tile in the pool and brick steps along with pink hues in the recreated rocks and the azalea trees. Several varieties of palms are represented. The decking is a specially imprinted and colored concrete.

Extravagant palms provide a rich backdrop to this Roman project. Statuary accents the Mediterranean lines of this entertaining pool. The sunken fire pit with seating is great for cold-weather outings, or to roast marshmallows.

This manicured yard is designed to provide privacy while keeping a view of the golf course. Formal planters line the walkways that lead to a stunning swimming pool and waterfall. The nearby trellis houses a table and chair set and full barbecue station.
Job #028 - French Courtyard
Though enclosed by wrought-iron fencing and brick columns, this front-yard swimming pool feels very open. An arched bridge with sheer descents provides access to the home's entry. The French coping highlights the pool and ties in the column finials.

Trees and shrubbery provide a secluded, sunken entertaining area. The classic lines of the pool and steps are detailed with white French coping.

This "dry creek" is actually a functional irrigation pathway connecting the fields nearby. The bridges are faced with cultured stone and framed by brick lighting columns.

This multi-level Spanish-style yard is decorated with a variety of palms. 12"x12" terracotta tile lines the perimeter of the swimming pool and spa. The sunken bar to the left is fully equipped to handle any entertaining.

This multi-level, brick-lined pool with its recreated boulders is just part of the charm of this landscaping. Two covered patios contain everything needed for any type of outdoor barbecue or backyard get-together. Climbing roses and park lights put the finishing touches on its charm.

Bullnose brick contrasts the buff-colored rock facing. Sheer descents provide an elegant flow of water into the pool from elevated sitting areas.

Timeless Roman design elements breathe elegance into this 2.5 acre project. Palm trees and domestic planting accent the strong lines of the hardscape. Private sitting areas offer a panoramic view of the yards. A remote planting island is split by a wooden trellis into two areas with beautiful Jacaranda trees. The swimming pool is bordered with multiple elevations and balustrades. Sheer descent falls and dolphins provide the sound of falling water.
