Job #006 - Jolly Roger Hotel

This remodel project at the Jolly Roger Hotel in Marina del Rey, California had an existing masonry wall from which we built on (as shown on the 'Before' picture).

The existing signage was accurately duplicated on the wall behind the sheet of water. We hand-carved the lettering out of fresh mortar using custom stencils. The background of the sign is stamped ashlar stone. A 3/4" thick sheet of water continuously drops from the upper pond and gives the sign an animated attention-getting appearance.
