Job #016 - Tulare

Video #1

One thing was clear when our clients approached us about this project - they love to entertain. Every design feature and special effect was put in place for this purpose. Event furniture can be set up in any of the numerous open spaces, close to the house and also in the grass meadow.

Centerlined on the pool is the upper deck, or "stage". Beautiful hand-carved stone ballustrades formalize the stairways and add a vertical element to the symmetry of the pool. Cantilevering over the pool, the fountain is quite a spectacle. A perfect sheet of water spills over three sides of the 24 foot wide fountain. The basin of the fountain is comprised of 12 inch glass block for spectacular lighting, and a 316 stainless steel spillway.

You might not notice the 1-meter diving board because it doesn't stand up from the diving deck. It actually sits in a recessed area making the surface of the board flush with the surrounding deck. It's quite a bit safer in that it poses no trip hazard.

For the ultimate in relaxation, we installed five Paramount JetPaks™ in the spa. They are specially designed units that are interchangable and give a gunite spa the flexibilty and comfort associated with acrylic spas.

Vibrant colors light up the swimming pool, spa, and fountain at night. We chose to use LED-based lighting because of it's extended lifetime, color rendition, and functionality. The pool and spa feature IntelliBrite™ light fixtures that can change colors, flowing from one to the next. The fountain is lit by four LED fixtures, each one independently controlled by a DMX system for complete flexibility. We programmed several color-changing "themes" for the fountain, including fire (shown in the pictures), patriotic (red, white, and blue), Christmas (red and green), and others.
