This beautiful project is another example of a small area combined with award-winning design. With a sports court to integrate and limited space, we designed another masterpiece. A breathtaking yard with the perfect balance of hardscape and landscape elements.

The state-of-the-art koi pond features a large waterfall spilling into an elevated pond at sitting height. The overflow from this goes over a second waterfall into a stream, under the simulated wood bridge, and into the lower pond. Each pond has bottom drains that flow through a settlement tank to filter out heavy solids. The water is then drawn into the pump, filter, and ultraviolet system for extra algea protection. Pond lighting is provide by underwater spa-type lights, as well as above water landscape lights integrated into the rock formations.

To be beautiful and economically sound, we installed two independent plumbing systems. The primary biological water system runs a 1/3HP pump 24 hours a day for filtration and aeration of the water. For effect, a secondary "kicker" system runs a 3HP pump for massive waterflow, all at the push of a button.
